| So high school all toghether is pretty much over and it couldn't be
worse. I'm so distant with my friends now I'm not even sure I can
call them friends. I keep hearing about people getting invited to
graduation parties and I don't have a single one to go to. I'm
leaving friends who I've had for 18 years and none of them even speak
to me anymore. I know college will be a whole new opportunity to
meet people, but I may very well leave without seeing the few people
who I've been close with ever again.
I've never felt so low and depressed in my life. All I want are
friends to end the past 18 years I've had with. Currently, I have
zero.

| I've got a CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was so... all of a sudden. My dad just said out of nowhere
yesterday, we're going to the car dealership to look at cars for
you. We test drove 2 cars, I fell in love with the second one and
we bought it, just like that. I'm still a bit baffled that it all
happened that fast, but who am I to complain right now? I'm not
driving a minivan anymore.
So I'm sure your wondering what type of car right? Well I'm going
to assume you are. It's a sleek gray Toyota Corolla S (the 'S'
for Sport). It's my precious child. The car gets 28 mpg in
the city and 38 (!) on the highway... that's almost up to what some
hybrids get). There's a black interior and a big white dashboard
that looks gorgeous at night. The best thing is how it handles
though. The difference between driving the van and driving this
is like night and day... to give you some idea.
But on a slightly less cheerful note, I didn't get to do much of
anything last night due to the freshman dance that all my friends got
invited to, leaving me to sit around doing nothing. I eventually
saw some friends, but only for a few minutes.
Oh, and this has been an especially boring Sunday. I just don't
have anything to do. I hate it when that happens. It makes
my life feel worthless.
Oh well. I have a new car, right?
Right.

| Good Lord I'm awesome!!!
So I got my parents old turntable working, and it's freaking
awesome. It's just been sitting in this cabinet in our living
room for years, and every time I'd ask about it, my parents work simply
say "it's borken." Well I didn't see any problems on Sunday when
I plopped a vinyl on it and turned the switch to Start. Not one
thing wrong with it as far as I could tell.
I've been on a vinyl buy binge because of this now, and just recently
picked up some Sinatra, Talking Heads, Earth Wind & Fire, and Beach
Boys. God I love Talking Heads.
So yeah, the past few days have simply been spent getting absorbed into
70's funk, and 80's dance music, and I couldn't be loving it more.

| Last night was pretty fun.
Delong called me up and said he was going some Notre Dame girls
birthday party. I didn't know the girl, and Delong didn't know
the girl, and the only reason we both went is because Marielle knew the
girl and told Delong he could come and to bring friends. We went
with Will Kauffman and some other freshman, and we all knew basically
nobody who was there. The party was at Grand Slam, and I haven't
been there since I was about 8, but it was still awesome. We
played hardcore laser tag, dodgeball, DDR, and a game called ripping
the arcade machines off by getting your money back after you insert
your tokens. Yes there was much fun to be had with a random array
of stangers from other schools at a random girls seventeenth birthday
party.
Oh yeah, and I saw Brian Farrel and Gabby there too. Horray!
